Build your Bulk Email List india |
| |
Building your mailing list is a very crucial aspect in Bulk Email Marketing. How this mailing list is generated or harvested will make or break your Bulk Email marketing campaign. First, let us list down the DON’Ts in creating a mailing list for your bulk email marketing.
Don’t use special tools that are offered in the internet to generate your mailing list. – These tools often harvest emails from websites, which brings us to our next “don’t”…Don’t harvest email addresses from websites other than your own. – By harvesting email addresses from other websites, you run the risk of getting email addresses of people who have never heard of your product or service.
These people may not want to receive emails from you and on the extreme end, may even report you for sending unsolicited email which will cause your email account to be banned.
Don’t purchase and use ready made lists. There a lot of mailing lists for sale over the internet and these often come from email service providers and agencies that conduct surveys. These lists often contain email addresses that are no longer valid. Plus, these lists are sold to whoever are interested in them and so, the owners of these email addresses are already bombarded with hundreds of emails from other email marketers and would hardly take a second look at the email that you will be sending them.
The best way to build your mailing list is through a subscription on your website. First and foremost, you should have your own website before even attempting bulk email marketing. You should set up a subscription form somewhere on your web page to get your visitors to sign up for your mailing list with their consent. You can also spread the word about your mailing list subscription by word of mouth. The good thing about this method is that it generates a mailing list of people who are already interested in your products and services. This is not the quickest way to build a mailing list, but by far it is the most reliable. Your email list of subscribers that have agreed to receive emails from you is truly an asset and you must build a relationship with them. You can use that mailing list to drive traffic to different websites and sales pages and that’s why you should treat the people on this list with the utmost care.Building a relationship with your email list takes a lot of work, but the benefits that you would reap from doing such will be worth all your trouble. Here are tips on how you can build a relationship with your email list:
Send emails regularly. – You should send regular emails to your subscribers, at least once a month. If you get little or no response to the emails you send, don’t be discouraged. This doesn’t automatically mean that your mailing list has lost interest on your product or service. Try different approaches to your email and see which strategy works best and which elicits the most response.
Send your subscribers useful information and tips. – You should design your email to contain stuff that your customers want. It’s shouldn’t just be focused on your company and products or you run the risk of having your subscribers lose interest in reading your emails. Include in your emails specific content, messages, and other targeted information that would capture the interest of your customers. This way, your customers will look forward to receiving you emails and you are sure that they are opening and reading them.
It would also be good practice on your part to try not to profit in some way in each and every email that you send. Send some emails whose sole focus are your customers.Send some videos of yourself. – Record some videos of yourself talking about your products and services and send them to your subscribers. Videos are more personal than regular emails as it shows a real person giving the information.
Make sure that the emails you send to your subscribers can be read. – Including videos, graphics, flash animations, and logos on an email is fun and impressive, but they are often blocked by email filters. A good way to counter these filters is to upload these videos and graphics to your site and just use flat text with hyperlinks that leads the customers to your site.
Create a way that allows your subscribers to interact with you. – This can be done by creating a forum, a comment system, an email submission area, a live chat room, among many others.
Just remember to engage your readers in every email you send. Let your readers enjoy your emails and make sure that they look forward to receiving them. Don’t try to profit form each and every email that you send out. Make sure that your customers feel as though they can trust you and your products through your emails.
