Send Bulk Emails Through SMTP |

| To regulate abusive activity, many ISPs (Internet service providers) no longer allow their Internet users to relay bulk email using third-party email servers. While you can certainly receive email via a third-party server, you will have to tweak your SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) to appease your ISP. After tweaking your settings, your ISP may still have a limit on the amount of email recipients you can send to at one time. Be sure to check with your ISP to verify the limits. |

| 1 Ensure that your email account has been set up on inside of your Outlook Express email program. You can verify this by clicking on "Tools" and "Accounts" from the Outlook Express menu bar. Click on the "Mail" tab of the "Internet Accounts" window. The email account will be listed in the window. |

| 2 Highlight your email account in the "Internet Accounts" window. Click the "Properties" button. |

| 4 Ensure that the "Incoming Mail Server" is that of your email provider. If you do not know your incoming mail server setting, contact your email provider. |

| 5 Enter the "Outgoing SMTP Mail Server" setting for your ISP. If you do not know your Internet service provider's SMTP setting, contact your ISP to get the setting. |

6 Place a check in the box labeled "My Server Requires Authentication." Click the "Settings" button.

| 7 Select the option to "Log On Using." Enter your ISP username and password that is associated with your Internet service. |

| 8 Select the option to "Remember Password." Click "OK." Click "Apply" to save your settings. Click "OK" to close the "Properties" window. |
