Techniques for sending bulk email |
| |
How too correctly format and send a mass email is something most people have a hard time grasping these days. I hate getting forwards anyways, but when I see my private email, address splashed in a forward for everyone to grab it makes me angry. There is a much better way then revealing the email addresses of your friends and family. Send out a mass email and save your self some time, but do it correctly and hide the email addresses.
Sending the same Bulk email message to multiple people can get tiresome to say the least, if you are adding one address only to the Bulk email and sending it out. There is a much simpler way to create an email message that one can send to multiple people at the same time, and it keeps those emails addresses private.
Here is what you need, a computer with internet access, an email client with address or contact lists and the desire to send a mass email message. If you are creating the mass email from scratch, I suggest using a word processor.
Create the mass email in the word processor, as it is much simpler to do this way. Type the mass email message as you would in your email client, but by typing it in the word processor; you can check the spelling and grammar as you proceed. Once your mass email message is correctly typed, copy and paste it into your email client.
Open the email client, type in your own address in the first section of the email. This will send you a copy of the email and it is vital if you choose to send the mass email massage in the way it is described later in this article. Also by sending it to yourself, you have a copy of it, and can see if your email is blocked or infected.
Open your address book and choose the cc option for anyone you wish to send this mass email message too. The cc option means carbon copy, and it sends the same mass email message to all of the selected recipients but reveals their email addresses.
Choose the bcc option if you desire to conceal the email addresses or recipients from each other for the mass email message. Just choose this option and the recipients will not know whom else that same email message was sent too. This is the smartest way to send a mass email message because it keeps those email addresses private and you are doing your part to end spam.
The BCC option hides the emails addresses of your family and friends so they do not get frequent spam email messages.Mail as you usually would with any email message, and this is how to do a mass email correctly.
